This project involved extending and modernising an existing property in Hook Heath, Woking, with a strong focus on structural alterations and high-end finishes. The works included constructing a single-storey rear extension and laying a premium porcelain patio with a matching side footpath leading to the garden.

Significant structural work was required, including the installation of steel columns and beams to open up internal spaces. A striking 6m x 1.2m rooflight from Vario by Velux was fitted, supported by a bespoke steel frame to accommodate its size. In addition, 6m-wide bifold doors were installed to create a seamless connection between the new extension and the porcelain terrace.

To enhance comfort, an underfloor heating system with a smart thermostat was laid throughout the new space. A luxury kitchen by Tom Howley (Guildford) was then installed, complementing the high-spec interior.

Following the successful completion of the main project, the client asked us to carry out several further works at the property. These included a full refurbishment of the family bathroom, a complete revamp of the double garage, and restoration and redecoration of the exterior, including replacement of fascias, soffits and gutters.

The result is a beautifully extended and upgraded home, offering both modern functionality and impressive visual appeal. The works have also had a significant positive impact on the property’s overall value.
